6 Signs that you are Nervous

1. Increased Heart Rate

An increased heart rate is a clear symptom of anxiousness. Stress hormones like adrenaline can speed up your heart when you're frightened.

2. Sweating

Another indicator of anxiousness is clammy or sweaty palms or forehead or underarm moisture. When stressed, your body sweats to regulate temperature.

3. Shaking or Trembling

Nervousness can cause hand, leg, and voice trembling. This automatic reflex is caused by fight-or-flight.

4. Difficulty Concentrating

Nervousness can make it hard to concentrate on work or discussions. You may be easily distracted or difficult to concentrate.

5. Dry Mouth

Nervousness reduces saliva production, causing dry mouth or throat. Speaking or swallowing may be painful due of this sensation.

6. Avoidance Behavior

Nervous people avoid eye contact, squirm, and make excuses to leave. Escape from stress or suffering drives these behaviours.
